In the UK, 1 in 50 people are part of the LGBTQ community. But when it comes to football, isn’t it curious that not a single one of the hundreds of male players in the Premier League is openly gay? That’s why, in our first campaign for Paddy Power we went to the Brighton & Hove Pride Festival 2018 to show our support by encouraging our national heroes to come out and become role models, not only on the field, but off it as well. Because a Premier League with gay players shouldn’t be fantasy football.
