Air Raid Alarm Clock

Every day since the Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine began over 3 years ago, air raid sirens have rung out across the country – an average of 42 times a day. But while that terrifying sound that has become all too familiar for Ukrainians, it’s one that the politicians in the US and Europe debating the country’s future rarely hear – and can easily ignore. That’s why Razom, an NGO working with policymakers to advocate for Ukraine on the international stage, decided to send them a wake up call. 

Introducing the Air Raid Alarm Clock: A unique device that’s connected directly to Ukraine’s official air alert system – so every time a siren goes off anywhere in the country, it produces that same unsettling sound. Serving as a constant reminder that while Trump and Putin negotiate their unilateral peace deal, the Russian attacks on Ukrainian civilians continue. 

In order to generate support for Ukraine in the most decisive moment in the war since 2022, Razom hand delivered the devices to US Senators and members of Congress along with an impactful video addressed directly to them. And to make sure EU politicians also got the message loud and clear, we set up an Air Raid Alarm Clock in front of the European Parliament in Brussels – showing those in power that if they don’t fight for Ukraine now, they might be the ones hearing real air raid sirens next.

Because when it comes to securing a peaceful future for Ukraine, the clock is ticking… and time is running out.
